Sat on their park bench like bookends

// Jumper- Matalan // Skirt- New Look // Necklace- My Grandma's //

Hello everyone! I thought I would share a little outfit of the day with you today. The weather lately has been so confusing- the mornings here are cold, foggy and wet, and by the time I finish work in the afternoon, it's warm and sunny! This outfit, paired with my Converse, was today's answer to the fickle weather.

The jumper is a new one I picked up in Matalan in the children's section. I love their children's section! They have such gorgeous items, some of them so similar to the adults clothes, at a fraction of the price, and their age 15 pieces are the same size as a ladies size 8! This jumper was only £12, whereas similar ones in the ladies section were between £20 and £30! I have received so many compliments on it too. It's so classic and simple, however the detailing such as the lovely shape of the sleeves and the buttons running down the back stop it from being too boring.

This denim pencil skirt from New Look was this summers attempt at stopping myself getting stuck in the routine of wearing my skinny jeans with everything. Having a very active 18 month old means that most skirts simply aren't practical- I don't want to spend all day worrying about either flashing people or treading on the bottom of my maxi skirts! But this skirt is brilliant- it's stretchy, comfortable, and long enough to save my dignity! I love the shape and it goes with almost everything.

How are you all? I am still working 7 days a week, but treated myself to my first night out in a very long time last week! I was a little bit worried about being too old now I'm a mum, but it felt really good to get dressed up and spend a night with my friends not stressing about work, weddings or nappies!

AFRIKA

SAM_2652 SAM_2655 SAM_2663 SAM_2680

Shirt: Primark
Leggings: American Apparel
Spike bracelet: Ebay
Blue bracelet: Marwell zoo

Hello everyone!

I thought I'd share a quick outfit post with you today. I realised a while ago I have never shared these leggings in an outfit post before. I have no idea why! They are by far my favourite leggings and I have had them for about 3 years now. They are the American Apparel Afrika leggings and I love them so much. Like most clothes in American Apparel the fit is amazing and they are super comfortable. I found them while on a spending spree with my birthday money, and it took me ages to decide whether to get them or not. It just didn't feel right spending so much on a pair of leggings when you could get similar in Primark for a fraction of the price. But as it was my birthday I treated myself, and I'm so glad I did. They have lasted so well! They haven't lost their shape at all, they don't have holes in and the colours haven't faded, unlike all of my cheaper leggings which are unwearable within months. I can't praise these leggings enough!

I bought this shirt recently in Primark and can see myself getting a lot of wear out of it this summer. I love the wash of the denim and it's a really nice, flattering shape and fit. I think it will be one of those staple pieces that will go with anything and feel comfortable but look good!

I picked up this blue stone bracelet (I think it's a type of turquoise but I can't remember the name of it!) in Marwell Zoo gift shop, of all places, for £2.50! I fell in love with the colour and don't think there has been a day since I got it I haven't worn it. I love the pop of colour it adds to an outfit!

I would love for some of you to share your blog links with me/ your favourite blog links, I have a found a few new bloggers recently I really love and am really enjoying reading something new, so any more you could send my way I'd be really grateful for!

SO DANCE ALONG TO THE BEAT OF YOUR HEART

Dress: Primark // Cardigan: Matalan // Necklace: Ebay // Bracelet: Ebay

Hello everyone!

I'm having a cosy afternoon in with Lily, so I thought I'd do a little outfit post. I bought this dress a little while ago from Primark. I loved the shape and the detailing, and thought it would be really cute for summer, so as it was only £5 I got it and put it away, waiting for the weather to warm up.

I then got this cardigan from Matalan this weekend. This is now easily my favourite cardigan I own! It is so soft and cosy, and such good quality! It feels so much more expensive than it actually is. I love the specks of colour running through it too, and it goes with everything! However I had got into a bit of a rut lately of just wearing jeans & jumpers, I think because of the weather & having to run around after Lily all the time, it had just become my easy choice. But I had a little brainwave today while feeling a bit miserable that instead of some spring sunshine we have snow, and decided to pair this cardigan with my summer dress & a pair of Primark super cosy tights, & voilĂ ! A pretty, practical and warm outfit! It's definitely lifted my mood a little!

Do you have any tips for dressing when its super cold & your feeling lazy?

you'll sit alone forever if you wait for the right time

Shirt- Primark, £6
Lilac Jamie Jeans- Topshop, £15 (sold out!)
Gold Cuff- Ebay, £1.99

Hello! I thought I'd attempt an outfit post today with my phone, as I still haven't found my camera! So the pictures aren't the best, sorry!

I absolutely love this shirt at the moment. I love the simplicity of it, just white with little gold buttons and a dip hem, and the fit is perfect. It's light and floaty, and I just think so pretty. It's really easy to throw on with a pair of jeans and look as though you've made a bit of an effort, but would also look great dressed up for more of a going out outfit! I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of this, so I'm hoping it will last. The quality seems really good for Primark, so fingers crossed!

These are my new favourite jeans! They are Topshop's Jamie jeans, and I've had my eye on them for a while. Lately I have managed to shed the last of my baby weight, which I'm so happy about! So I thought it was time to treat myself to a new pair of jeans (as my others were literally falling off of me!). I went straight onto Topshop's website to find the Jamie jeans, and was so happy to find they were on sale! I ordered them straight away, and I'm so happy with them. The fit is perfect, they are really comfortable, and the colour is lovely. They are called lilac, but I think they are more of a pale blue with a slight hint of lilac, which I really love!

My gold cuff is something I have been wanting for a while, but I haven't managed to find any in shops that is exactly what I'm after. They all seem to be too big, too small, or have some detailing on I don't want. So when I found this bargain on ebay, I bought it, but expecting it still wouldn't be quite what I was after, but I love it! It's just what I wanted, simple but enough of a statement to instantly make an outfit a bit more interesting. I've added the link underneath the photo's.

I thought I'd add in a picture with Lily too- she was just so happy while I was taking these pictures!! She was playing on the floor, grinning and cooing at me, so I couldn't resist picking her up and taking some pictures with her too!

How are you all? Have you found any items you love recently?
