I know you can't really see them in this picture, but I love the jeans I'm wearing here! I really struggle to find good fitting jeans (as most people seem to) and these I found for £14 at ASDA amazingly, and they fit so well and are really comfy! They're high waisted skinny jeans that are quite stretchy and feel really good quality. They have them in lots of colours too, I really want a mint green pair next!

The dress I'm wearing as a top is one that was in primark ages ago, I got it just before I found out I was pregnant last year, and didn't end up wearing it before I got too big for it! So today I wore it for the first time, but as a top. Short dresses aren't that practical when your looking after a 6 week old baby! I love the print on it of the little red soldiers :)

I really love this little outfit Lily is wearing! It's so adorable! It had a cute little red polkadot hat with cat ears on too, but I've lost it, which is such a shame because it is so so cute!I think H&M is my favourite place for baby clothes. They are all cute, practical and really reasonable prices.

Today Lily and I went to see her great Grandma. She lives in a care home and the carers and other residents make such a fuss of little Lily! This evening, after some pizza, I think we will settle down with David and watch Deathly Hallows part 1 & 2. I think my David, Lily and Harry Potter might just be my favourite way to spend an evening!

I've been looking for this t shirt since Lily was born! I got it for Christmas, but was pregnant and huge and couldn't wear it. It's from Orange Circle, here's the link to their shop, I love all their designs and how you have so many options for each one! I was so excited about wearing it for the first time, but hadn't been able to find it until this morning! I love it. I decided to wear my deathly hallows t shirt with my glasses necklace, just to make my outfit even more Harry Potter like! I am a complete Harry Potter geek, I'm slightly obsessive about it. I have read all the books 5+ times each and watched the films countless times. Lily will grow up watching the films and having the books read to her. I'm determined she will be as obsessed as I am!

My beautiful little Lily Belle is wearing a new outfit today too. I found this daisy duck playsuit in sainsburys the other day, and she had to have it! It's now one of my favourite outfits for her. I think she likes it too! She was having a lovely kick around in it on her mat this morning :)

Daisychain summer ♥

summer is very nearly over now, and it has been rather sad and horrible at times, but i have had so many lovely and wonderful adventures too, and they are not over just yet.


I have had trips to the beach, to London, to pretty little villiages full of the cutest shops, visits to see family and get togethers with old friends. Days at the park with my lovely boyfriend, shopping with mother, and legoland with my little brother. I have stayed up ever so late to lay outside under the stars, I have been 'uncle' rosie to my gorgeous niece and nephew, and have gone to watch Harry Poter at the cinema, almost making me burst with excitement!! I have visited castles and art galleries, and had tea in the prettiest little tea shops, and spent afternoons in the garden barefoot, drinking tea and drawing and pressing daisys in my little notebook.




Today my adventure was to oxford to go sphereing. If you dont know, shereing is where you are harnessed inside a gigantic blow up ball and rolled down a very big, steep hill!! It was so much fun, very strange and giggley. It was an extra birthday present my mother arranged for me and my father. I made myself look very silly when i got myself stuck trying to get into the ball, and when i screamed when it first rolled over, making everyone giggle at me who was watching!!

oh!!!! There is someone very special i would like you all to meet :)


her name is poppy, my dear little hamster. she is absolutely adorable!! she was the last one in the pet shop, and i just had to take her home with me! she is very exciteable and runs all over your lap, and all over the carpet and my bed, crawling in between my teddys and my covers. she has a lovely little house that goes inside her cage, a little white house with pink bedding and a blue roof with a blue chimney, that she sleeps in. and when she is awake she climbs all over her lovely large cage, that has an upstairs and a downstairs and a bridge and ladders. she is very funny and ever so cute!!! Her favourite toy is my little pink teapot, which she climbed ito when I had let her run around one day :) she loved it so much I am now keeping it in her cage for her!!

the etsy shop is not yet finsihed!! I have got rather stuck with materials as i have so little money, and also time, as now my little brother is on his summer holiday I have been looking after him lots!!

I move into my new uni house in two weeks, the house with the mint green front door. It is a lovely little house, and although I will miss home and my family terribly while I am there, I am so excited about moving in and decorating the house and making it very homely. and of course, the fact that my wonderful boyfriend, David, will be living their with me. It has felt strange going from living in our flat together to living at home again. I cannot wait for me and David and poppy to make our little home together!! ♥

next weekend is camping adventures in the isle of wight. i adore the isle of wight and cannot wait to go!!

I miss being able to blog whenever I want now i am using the famly computer, thank you all for still reading and leaving your wonderful comments that make me smile lots!! you are all wonderful and i adore reading all of the beautiful blogs you make :)

Sorry my lovelies, I know i have been a truely awful blogger at the moment. First I was having so many summer adventures that I could not find time to write. Then everything got teary and awful and horrible recently, and blogging again had to wait. I didnt feel it was right to blog about such horrible things, and i felt too awful to be inspired.

But I have started to feel happier again, and inspired again. I have found a wonderful little gadget online that turns all of your digital photos into polaroids, which I absolutely love!!! I have a polaroid camera but am too scared to use it a lot of the time because when i run out of film I can never afford new ones!! so here are some of my summer adventures in polaroid form...

Lazy days in long grass with my boy, finding ladybirds, laying in the sun, family days at the beach, building sandcastles, playing frisbee, picnics, swimming in the sea, fishing for crabs, getting burn, rosy cheeks, long long walks, swings and discovering new places!!

I have also been setting up an etsy shop!! I havent opened the shop yet, but I have been working on items to sell such as little brooches and rings and garlands. I am so excited about this!! It has been fun making things and coming up with ideas, and i think I am almost ready to open my shop. I am a little nervous, as i dont know whether I am being silly in thinking its a good idea, because people may think my items are not good enough to buy, but people have been encouraging me to do it so i thought i would try :) anybody with any advice is extremeily welcome as i really am not entirely sure what i am doing!! I am also trying to come up with ideas of other things to sell, and I do not have a name or header for the shop yet. I will do a post soon with pictures of the things I have made so far to show you all!!

Things may have been awful and teary in the past few weeks, put I have a few reasons to be smiley and happy again now:

♥ It is my birthday next thursday!! That means a new teeny furry friend in the form of an adorable little hamster, a shopping trip in London and party :)

♥ This saturday I am spending with my lovely boyfriend, his sister and her baby boy and girl!! Her baby boy calls me 'Uncle Rosie', which I adore!!!

♥ I am going to see harry potter on friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait, I am so so so excited!!! Im in love with this picture of Emma Watson at the moment too...

I am going to post again by the end of the week with pictures of pieces for etsy and hopefully more interesting things than this post. You are all wonderful and I adore each and every comment you leave. I will get back to you all very very soon and read all of your beautiful inspiring blogs!!
