Hello!

December is here, can you believe it?! It only seems like yesterday I was packing away baubles and fairy lights from last year.

I have been so organised this year, which is completely unlike me! I have even started wrapping some presents. I usually leave everything until the last minute, but I only have a few more gifts to buy and I am ready for Christmas! 

Our first weekend of December, therefore, has been strangely relaxed! We started our advent calendars Saturday, mine being a Minnie Mouse one, David's a malteasers one and Lily's an adorable Hello Kitty one. It's her first ever advent calendar, and she was so fascinated with it, inspecting it, chewing on it, and shaking it, then thoroughly enjoying being given a little chocolate so early in the day! 

We got a few bits and bobs for the house recently too, flowers, photo frames, lamps and candles to just make it a little cosier. Since decorating Lily's room I've been wanting to redo the whole house!  But as our budget wont stretch that far, I'm happy just making little improvements instead.

So our weekend has been lovely and cosy, with candles, a prettier house, cuddles and play time with Lily, snuggles on the sofa, soup eating, slow cooked pork, Deathly hallows part 1, Miracle on 34th Street and little chocolatey treats.
